Safety nets in wet wells and lift stations are left in place to provide fall-thru protection. A quality safety net is made from corrosion free material and can be easily cleaned. It should be installed in a way to be removed with little or no tools to access to the vault. The hatch door should be able to open and close while the safety net is in place.
